Thaiconsent conducted research for UNDP and TP Lab, comprehensively investigating mothers’ experiences regarding childcare quality expectations and their challenges. The aim was to understand the factors influencing their decision to have more children and to advocate for policies supporting this decision-making process. The research explored various aspects, including the factors influencing mothers’ decision-making processes, the essential needs and support mechanisms for family-friendly environments and childcare, the challenges faced by mothers after having children, and the factors affecting their readiness to decide on having more children, taking into account their occupational and economic statuses.
